War on .......?
In practise Terror seems to be defined by an overwhelming number of civilian casualties in warlike acts. Is it a war on terror when there are more civilians dead then terrorists I ask?
Seems to be the correct catchy phrase Israel should be using at the moment. UN asks for a 72 hour ceasefire to help the civilians get food and water Israel says no. It must be a war on civillians then.

Pirate Jenny
No. You couldn't ever guess to who you're talkin'.Then one night there's a scream in the nightAnd you'll wonder who could that have beenAnd you see me kinda grinnin' while I'm scrubbin'And you say, "What's she got to grin?"I'll tell you.
There's a shipThe Black Freighterwith a skull on its mastheadwill be coming in.
You gentlemen can say, "Hey gal, finish them floors!Get upstairs! What's wrong with you! Earn your keep here! You toss me your tipsand look out to the shipsBut I'm counting your headsas I'm making the bedsCuz there's nobody gonna sleep here, honeyNobodyNobody!
Then one night there's a scream in the nightAnd you say, "Who's that kicking up a row?"And ya see me kinda starin' out the windaAnd you say, "What's she got to stare at now?"I'll tell ya.
There's a shipThe Black Freighterturns around in the harborshootin' guns from her bow.
Now
You gentlemen can wipe off that smile off your faceCause every building in town is a flat oneThis whole frickin' place will be down to the groundOnly this cheap hotel standing up safe and soundAnd you yell, "Why do they spare that one?"
Yes.
That's what you say."Why do they spare that one?"
All the night through, through the noise and to-doYou wonder who is that person that lives up there? And you see me stepping out in the morning Looking nice with a ribbon in my hair.
And the shipThe Black Freighterruns a flag up its mastheadand a cheer rings the air.
By noontime the dockis a-swarmin' with mencomin' out from the ghostly freighterThey move in the shadowswhere no one can seeAnd they're chainin' up peopleand they're bringin' em to measkin' me,"Kill them NOW, or LATER?"Askin' ME!"Kill them now, or later?"
Noon by the clockand so still by the dockYou can hear a foghorn miles awayAnd in that quiet of deathI'll say, "Right now.Right now!"
Then they'll pile up the bodiesAnd I'll say,"That'll learn ya!"
And the shipThe Black Freighterdisappears out to sea
And on it is me.

What more do I need to do to be accepted?
"I am well integrated, so is my wife - we have jobs what more do you want? (Danish society). I have to sit here everyday, I drive nights and I have to excuse all the idiots doings - just because they have the same skin colour as me. What more do I need to do to be accepted? I am sick of it! I can take it - but what about my 14 year old girl? She has to listen to all this shit as well.
I blame myself for choosing Denmark to let her grow up in"
Think about that for a second or two.

Sometimes it is your own chance to get lucky!
I bring you fresh pixelized pictures from my new house -or summer residence to be exact. My girlfriends’ grandfather is giving us his city garden? (Kolonihavehus). Finally some REAL luck -like winning the lottery or getting a very large free beer! The garden is 378 m2 and the house is around 80m2. Very close to Ferrings high rise building in Ørestaden.
It will be a slow overtaking since he still lives there every summer from April to October - and we expect to do the same when we get the chance. "As long as I am able I'll sit in the garden and enjoy the sun - it is yours" -he says. Super! He made a big deal out of telling us that it is YOURS now! We can't wait! We are super happy!
JUUUHUUUUUU!!! Did I mention the yearly expenses of 400 Euros? (plus water and power naturally)

A trip to the countryside
Taking the S-train to Ølstykke, that's where it starts. Invited to a summercottege at a friends place in some of the more spectacular nature Sealand has to offer.
"Take the bus and get off at the first stop"- he said - in the middle of nowhere. This was the point of no return. Leaving civilization can sometimes feel like bungy jumping with no cord.
From the bus it was a 2 kilometer walk. Now it really started to get pretty. The feeling of freedom and hippie relaxation soon tok over. Flowers in the ditch, blue skys and around 30 degrees celsius. I felt my 3 weeks of vacation comming on! Walking through the fields, small lakes, trees.
Arived at around 15:00 in the small but newly redecorated cabine. Because it was so nice I forgot to take pictures! It was a great evening with barbeque, beer from tap and nice people. Just what I have been craving these last few days -all stressed out over my job.
Whent to bed at 1:45 - look at the beatiful sky -it never really get's dark this time a year. Fantastic. When your in the countryside you don't have the glare of city lights in the sky -I love getting away from that.
This is as good as it gets in Denmark in my opinion. What a perfect morning! There are only a few places in Denmark where you get the thrid dimension - hight! This is one of them. Created by very powerful rivers 2 kilometers under the ice in the Ice Age. The "rivers" or "hoses" created these corridors. Topograph called simply river-vally or ådal in Danish. Gotta love it.
After getting up we went swimming in the near by lake and hung out in the sun. (your right - no pictures!) Then slowly headed back towards the city.
