War on .......?

I have sympathy for the 2 Israeli soldiers that are up ducted, but in no way does that justify a
War on terror

In practise Terror seems to be defined by an overwhelming number of civilian casualties in warlike acts. Is it a war on terror when there are more civilians dead then terrorists I ask?
War on civilians

Seems to be the correct catchy phrase Israel should be using at the moment. UN asks for a 72 hour ceasefire to help the civilians get food and water Israel says no. It must be a war on civillians then.

What would you do then if Germany abducted Danish soldiers?

First of all it is not Lebanon as a country whom has abducted the Israeli soldiers -it is an independent organization.
So to get back to you hypothetical question it would not be Germany, but some rouge organisation living in Germany.

I would ask the country (Germany/Lebanon –makes no difference) for help.
Since it is a costume not to deal with terrorists, unfortunately the chances of survival for the 2 soldiers would be very slim at best. The 2 soldiers would die if there location was not discovered before time to comply ran out. I would prepare Special Forces in a great number and have them ready to go if and when the location of the 2 soldiers would be obtained.
This would be use of reasonable force. Something that would be tolerated by neighbouring countries around Germany/Lebanon.
With around 50 bombing missions a day all over Germany/Lebanon international society are rightly screaming for Israel to stop. Attacking a country like Israel has done here, is an act of war. With the risk of further instability/war in the region. It is simply out of proportions.
The lives of 2 Israelis cannot be worth more then that of 418 Lebanese (Current civilian body count at the moment)
